This Cherner chair was designed by Norman Cherner in 1958 for Plycraft.

Still regarded as the one of the most dramatic designs utilizing the technology of molding plywood,the Norman cherner chair seat and back are designed using a single shell connected by a slim and sturdy throat with slender legs.

The "walnut stained walnut" option has a walnut seat that has been covered with a walnut finish, which give the core and walnut veneer a uniform appearance. The "walnut-clear stain" option has a walnut seat and has been covered with a clear finish, which emphasizes the contrast between the exposed beech core and walnut face veneer.

--The four legs of this dining chair is also from molded plywood.
