Water air separator for compressed air system
Remove of water in compressed air is the primary task of compressed air treatment. The liquid water entrained in compressed air will corrode pipelines, valves , instruments and equipment, resulting in increased production costs.
The compressed air water separator is compact and strength in appearance, durable, and the pressure loss is negligible. And there is an imported automatic drain valve inside, no need to replace components. It is not only an ideal component for screw compressors, but also an indispensable water removel device for general air compressor post-processing.
Working Principle
The compressed air gas-water separator is composed of a housing, a cyclone separator, and sewage components. When the compressed air containing a large amount of oil and water solid impurities enters the separator, it spins down along its inner wall. The centrifugal effect produced causes the liquid water to separate out of the vapor stream and flow down the wall. Under the action of gravity, it flows into the separator. The bottom of the device is discharged by the automatic drain valve.
