What is the meaning for antenna DBI?

Both Router and ONU have antenna,usually EPON GPON XPON wifi onu all have antennas.Some Onu only have one antenna,but some onus have more than 4-6 antennas.The more antennas used,the strong signal onu will have.ONU wifi antenna have many kinds,start from 2dbi,dbi is more big,signal is more strong.Our GEPON WIFI ONU usually use 2dbi antenna,but for some customers they have requirement for 5dbi.Which kind of antenna to be used,it is according to customers demand.We already follow customers' requirements to give the best support to our customers.

XPON Wifi Onu Product Overview

GE8004U-HZ is an ONT device terminal in the XPON system. In conjunction with OLT, ONT can provide a variety of broadband services to connected users, such as Internet, VoIP, IPTV, Video Conference and other services. Based on mature, stable and cost-effective XPON technology, it provides one PON interface, one 1000M electrical interfaces and there 100Melectrical interfaces, one USB interface. Single fiber wavelength division multiplexing (downlink 1490nm, uplink 1310nm) is adopted, only one fiber is needed to connect with OLT, and the maximum transmission distance is up to 20km, which supports power outage report function and local WEB management function.

Indicator Light: WPS, wireless, USB, Telephone, network port 1-4, Optical signal, PON registration, power supply.
