The intake temperature manifold absolute pressure sensor always reads 100kpa higher than the boost sensor. The TMAP sensor will never show a negative reading because it measures absolute pressure, where zero is no pressure at all. Vacuum is measured in terms of negative pressure relative to normal atmospheric pressure. A vacuum booster sensor can display a negative reading, indicating vacuum or suction (pressure lower than the surrounding atmosphere).
