It measures the plastic pressure from the injection nozzle to the mold cavity during injection, filling, pressure retention and cooling. This data can be recorded in a monitoring system for real-time adjustment of molding pressure and for post-molding inspection or troubleshooting during production. The pressure data collected can be used as the general process parameters of die and material. In other words, the data can guide the production of different injection molding machines (using the same mold).
