Ketron® PEEK HPV (Bearing Grade) is carbon fiber reinforced with graphite and PTFE lubricants and it offers the lowest coefficient of friction and the best machinability for all PEEK grades. An excellent combination of low friction, low wear, high LPV, low mating part wear and easy machining, make it ideal for aggressive service bearings.

PEEK HPV (BEARING GRADE) Carbon fiber reinforced with graphite and PTFE lubricants, this grade of PEEK offers the lowest coefficient of friction and the best machinability for all PEEK grades. An excellent combination of low friction, low wear, high LPV, low mating part wear and easy machining, make it ideal for aggressive service bearings. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

- Very high maximum allowable service temperature in air [250 °C continuously, up to 310 °C for short periods of time]

- High mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance, also at elevated temperatures
Excellent chemical and hydrolysis resistance

- Excellent wear and frictional behaviour

- Very good dimensional stability

- Excellent resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- and X-rays]

- Inherent low flammability and very low levels of smoke evolution during combustion
