Simona PVDF Sheets & Rods: Partially Fluorinated High-Performance Plastic Sheet

Extruded from Kynar® resin, SIMONA® PVDF sheet and rod products provide solutions for highly demanding applications in the chemical processing industry that effectively counteract damage due to corrosion, extend the life of service equipment, and improve operational safety.

Simona PVDF Sheets are a partially fluorinated high-performance plastic sheet that can be deployed at temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +140 °C; it is resistant to the majority of organic and inorganic media.

Applications

Most of PVDF Sheet in Australian Industry and manufacturing is used in Chemical tank and equipment construction. More broadly, the different forms of PVDF, including polymers, rod and tube are used in power and electrical engineering, laboratory engineering, food industry, environmental technology, lining and composite construction.

The Simona PVDF range of products comes in sheets, rods and welding rods.

SIMONA® PVDF-EL (-GK/-SK/-CV)
polyvinylidene fluoride, conductive

PVDF materials are high-performance materials. SIMONA® PVDF-EL has added conductive particles, so its surface resistivity is very low. Its range of applications includes not only chemical containers and equipment manufacturing, but also the electrical industry and all other potentially explosive areas. Also available are SIMONA® PVDF-EL-GK with fiberglass surface lining or SIMONA® PVDF-EL-SK with polyester lining.
