SIMONA® PVC VS-1
PVC VS-1 is a fire-safe PVC material which is FM 4910 listed at .250" thickness and above. It is made from PVC, similar to Type I, but formulated for better fire retardancy.

The semiconductor and electronics industry demands sophisticated, controlled processing environments to ensure a high level of quality in its valuable goods. Manufacturing areas and cleanrooms are designed to be virtually free of contamination at every stage of production. After all, the investments made are considerable: billion-dollar wafer fabrication plants, multi dollar tooling and expensive work in process and finished goods. Fires and other upset conditions cost time, resources and reputations.

MINIMUM THICKNESS IS .250" - FOR SHEETS THINNER THAN .250", USE CRP-1 - VSI is the historic SIMONA branded PVC FM4910 material. -CRP1 is the historic Laminations branded FM4910 PVC material is now our leading material due to its bright white color (and color consistency) and high surface gloss. - Both materials meet FM4910, but CRP1 outperforms VS1 in terms of aesthetics and chemical resistance.
