CoExtruded(CoEx) Plastic Tubes. Extruded plastic tubes are another type of cosmetic tube, most commonly used for premium image personal care lines and products that must present well on retail shelves such as skin creams and UV sunscreens. By structure they are very similar to the PBL tubes however they are extruded.A dual extrusion, also known as co-extrusion, is the result of a single die designed to accept two materials and merge or bond these two materials into a single part. The bonding of these two parts must be of “like” material.Two-color co-extrusion is a plastic extrusion process. It is to transfer two different color materials (materials can be different) to the extrusion equipment through different flow channels, and a processed product with two different colors.

The two materials that are put in must be similar in nature or the same, otherwise they will not be tightly bound because of poor affinity. Two-color co-extrusion process is currently mainly used for processing plastic steel profiles. Two-color coextruded steel profiles can be divided into homogeneous and non-homologous coextrusion. At present, the main application is non-homologous co-extrusion, subdivided into PVC-ASA, PVC-PMMA two. Which PVC-ASA technology is the most mature, the best effect. It can also be used for the production of PE pipes.
