It is a kind of synthetic resin, also known as polyoxymethylene resin, POM plastic, race steel material, etc. It has the characteristics of high hardness, high steel, and high abrasion resistance. It is mainly used for gears, bearings, automobile parts, machine tools, instrumentation internal parts and other products that play the role of skeleton.
Product characteristics
(1) POM can be processed without drying, it is best to preheat (80 ℃ or so) in the process of processing, the stability of the product size is good;
(2) POM processing temperature is very narrow (0 ~ 215 ℃), in the barrel to stay a little longer or the temperature exceeds 220 ℃ will decompose, producing irritating formaldehyde gas;
(3) POM material injection pressure should be greater (similar to the injection pressure), in order to reduce the pressure drop. Screw speed should not be too high, the amount of residue should be less.
(4) POM product shrinkage is large, easy to produce shrinkage or deformation.
(5) POM should be in the “medium pressure, medium speed, low material temperature, higher mold temperature” under the conditions of molding, precision products need to control the mold temperature when molding
(6) with high mechanical strength and rigidity;

(8) Environmental resistance, good resistance to organic solvents;
