Product Description

KETRON® Extruded HPV PEEK (BEARING GRADE) - Carbon fiber reinforced with graphite and PTFE lubricants, with the lowest coefficient of friction and the best machinability for all PEEK grades. An excellent combination of low friction, low wear, high LPV, low mating part wear and easy machining, make it ideal for aggressive service bearings.Bearing grade Ketron® HPV PEEK has excellent wear resistance in addition to the lowest coefficient of friction and the best machining characteristics of the filled PEEK stock shapes.

The addition of carbon fibers, PTFE and graphite to virgin PEEK results in a Ketron PEEK "Bearing Grade".
Its excellent tribological properties (low friction, long wear and high Pressure-Velocity capabilities) make this grade especially suited for bearing and wear applications.
