Nylatron™ 66 SA FR PA66 Polyamide 66

 

Nylatron™ SA flame retardant (FR) polyamide PA66 profiles have been developed to fulfil the requirements of the flammability test for plastics, which determines the tendency of a material to either extinguish or spread a flame once it has been ignited. The test procedure is described in UL 94, and this particular Nylatron™ grade meets the V-0 standard for 1 mm thickness, as well as the requirements of the EN 45545-2 regulation, which is specific to railway applications. For these reasons, Nylatron™ SA FR PA66 components are often the preferred solution for applications in the transport and railway markets, such as cable supports, clamps and channels, and connections/sockets.
