A Polystone® M material with a permanent antistatic action. The electrostatic surface charge is reduced, dust is not attracted and no electrostatic discharge occurs.
Polystone® M is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW/PE 1000) used to solve friction, wear and material flow problems in many industries. The material is characterized by excellent sliding properties, extreme wear resistance, high impact strength and very good resistance to chemicals and has established itself in technical applications. The material is available in various colors.
Polystone® M Anti-Static UHMW Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene offers antistatic properties with surface resistivity in the 10^6 to 10^11 ohm/square range. Along with outstanding chemical resistance, a very low coefficient of friction, high impact strength and excellent abrasion resistance.
