Semitron® ESD antistatic 490HR PEEK

SEMITRON® ESD 490HR is a static dissipative enhanced polyether ether ketone (PEEK). This material has similar general properties to SEMITRON® ESD 480, but has a higher resistivity value in the range of 10^9 ~ 10^11. It is thermally stable to a temperature of 490°F (270°C) without degradation, and provides high structural strength and rigidity combined with excellent dimensional stability. This material is available in sheet and rod form, and is black.

SEMITRON®ESD 490HR is also non-collapsing to minimize pollution due to wear and tear, so it is very suitable for nesting, socket and contactor testing equipment and other electronic equipment processing components. While typical carbon fiber reinforced products become irreversible and conductive when exposed to medium voltage, SEMITRON® ESD 490HR maintains its dielectric properties while maintaining its mechanical properties.
