Prime View International Co., Ltd. (hereafter called PVI) PD121XL4 is a 12.1 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated WLED lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This PVI TFT-LCD is a 12.1 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller, Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. Based on datasheet with version of Ver2.0 which was released out on 5 27 2010, PD121XL4 supports display 1024(RGB)×768 (XGA) with aspect ratio of 4:3 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 245.76(W)×184.32(H) mm, outline size of 260.5(W)×204(H)×8.1(D) mm, viewing area size of 249.56(W)×188.12(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, net weight of 473±20g. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, PD121XL4 can provides 550 cd/m² display brightness 600:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 75/75/60/55 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on 12 o'clock , and response time of 10/20 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K colors. This product adopted 3S18P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type (Top side) and have a working life time of 30K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. PD121XL4 utilizes LVDS (1 ch, 6-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 20 pins Connector with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.). It's typical vertical frame rate (Fv) is 60Hz.
