PD080SX3 is a 8.0 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product from PVI, with a built-in WLED backlight, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This PVI TFT-LCD is a 8.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller, Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. On the basis of latest version datasheet Ver3.0 which was released out on 8 18 2009, PD080SX3 supports display 800(RGB)×600 (SVGA) with aspect ratio of 4:3 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 162(W)×121.5(H) mm, outline size of 183(W)×141(H)×6.6(D) mm, viewing area size of 165.2(W)×124.7(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, net weight of 274.8±15g. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K colors. This product adopted 3S9P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 30K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. PD080SX3 utilizes Parallel RGB (1 ch, 6-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 60 pins FPC with power supply voltage of 3.3/7.7/15.5/-6.5V (Typ.)(VCC/AVDD/VGG/VEE).
