Prime View International Co., Ltd. (hereafter called PVI) PM090WY2 is a 9.0 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated WLED lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This PVI TFT-LCD is a 9.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller, Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. Based on datasheet with version of Ver2.0 which was released out on 8 17 2011, PM090WY2 supports display 800(RGB)×480 (WVGA) with aspect ratio of 16:9 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 198(W)×112.08(H) mm, outline size of 210(W)×131(H) mm, viewing area size of 201.2(W)×115.28(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, net weight of 268±15g. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, PM090WY2 can provides 500 cd/m² display brightness 750:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 70/70/50/50 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on 6 o'clock , and response time of 5/20 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K colors. This product adopted 3S14P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 20K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. PM090WY2 utilizes TTL (1 ch, 6-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 60 pins FPC with power supply voltage of 3.3/9.9/3.3/18.6/-6.3V (Typ.)(VDD1/VDD2/VCC/VGH/VGL).
