G050VTN01.0 is a 5.0" diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display panel product from AU Optronics Corp. (hereafter called AUO), with an integral WLED backlight system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. It features an operating temperature range of -20 ~ 70°C , a storage temperature range of -30 ~ 80°C.This AUO TFT-LCD is a 5.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller and Tft Color Screen. G050VTN01.0 supports display 800(RGB)×480 (WVGA) with aspect ratio of 15:9 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 108(W)×64.8(H) mm, outline size of 120.7(W)×76.3(H)×3.3(D) mm, viewing area size of 111.25(W)×68.7(H) mm, with surface treament of Glare (Haze 0%), Hard coating (3H), net weight of 58.0±2.0g. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, G050VTN01.0 can provides 370 cd/m² display brightness 600:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 75/75/65/75 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle , and response time of 20 (Typ.)(Tr+Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit + Dithering gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 16.2M colors, also with performance of color gamut 50% (NTSC). This product adopted 3S3P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 20K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. G050VTN01.0 utilizes TTL (1 ch, 8-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 40 pins FPC with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.). It's typical vertical frame rate (Fv) is 60Hz.
