Although the PCD tool has sufficient hardness to resist deformation caused by cutting heat during cutting, it is very brittle. If coolant is added, the blade will easily break due to the sudden temperature drop. Therefore, when using PCD tools to process parts, dry cutting is generally required, especially in the case of intermittent cutting. Never use coolant during processing. The center sharp inserts of the PCD carving cutter features long service life and good adaptability.

It is particularly suitable to engrave granite and ceramic. Its maximum engraving depth can reach 1mm. The flat bottom knife is used to engrave characters with smooth edges.
