How to cleaning the PCB / PCBA

1. Before cleaning, use Miraclean Polyester Tip Swabs, clean soft oil paint brush (preferably 1-inch wide brush) and monotonous compressed air with a pressure of about 0.1Mpa (i.e. 1kg/cm2) to remove the dust on the circuit board.

2. Then wash the circuit board slowly with clean water. Note: Soap water must be washed thoroughly.

3. In order to clean the circuit board, a special cleaning solution (usually called circuit board cleaning water) can be used. This liquid can be bought in stores. If there is no washing water, the following operations can be performed: (usually we do not use washing water) First, use tap water to wash, pay attention to the water flow should be soft, not too thick, use a soft brush to carefully brush, and the same is true for both sides of the circuit board.

4. After cleaning, use the monotonous compressed air with the pressure of about 0.1Mpa [i.e. 1kg/cm2] to blow off the water drops, especially the jumper plug, the inside and bottom of the slot (CPU slot, AGP slot, PCI slot, memory slot), the bottom of the IC slot, the bottom of the chip, the bottom of the BIOS chip and the IC chip between them, the bottom of the large capacitor, etc. Stop blowing from different directions, and try to blow away all the water drops in the gap. If there is no compressed air, you can use a rubber hand pump, but it may be very tired.

5. Then use a neutral soap soft brush to carefully and quietly clean each center of the circuit board, especially the jumper plug, the interior and bottom of the slot (as above), and the bottom of the large capacitor. During operation, please be careful not to touch small capacitors with other vertically installed components; If the soap foam is very dirty, you must wash it with water, and then scrub it with soap again until the washed soap foam turns white.

6. Use double distilled water or absolute alcohol to clean the circuit board again (make one side of the welding element face up, place the circuit board diagonally, and immerse it in absolute alcohol with a clean oil brush No.10-12. Clean it from top to bottom). Carbon tetrachloride is more effective, but toxic. Be careful when using it. Do not use it unless necessary. Carbon tetrachloride is generally not recommended. So far, the cleaning is over. This kind of cleaning is not only thorough, money saving, environmental protection, but also healthy; As the washing water is harmful to the body, it is definitely not a good thing to pour the waste liquid after washing into the sewer.
