This Tunnel armoured fire resistant (IEC 60331) uni-loose tube cable with central water
blocking gel filled tube which can contain up to maximum of 12 fibers. The tube is wrapped with mica
tape which acts as the fire barrier. Glass yarn added under the jacket acts as armour against rodent and
impact. The steel wire armour provides not only mechanical and rodent protection yet maintaining the
flexibility of the cable making it suitable for direct burial & harsh environment installations. In
addition, both inner and outer flame retardant Low Smoke Zero Halogen jackets provide not only
flame retardant capability but also emit low smoke and non toxic gas when the cable is burnt.

Mica tape is helically wrapped over the uni-loose tube.
Glass Yarn Armour
Glass yarn serves as non-metallic armour and a peripheral strength member.
