The GDW224 is a 2400bps air rate robust wireless modem operating at VHF and UHF bands. It provides RS-232 connectivity and secure two-way wireless serial data communications in challenging environments typical of industrial monitoring and control applications.
Of particular note is the ability to communicate at short or long range while consuming low power and maintaining high levels of interference rejection in transparent point-to-point and point-to-multipoint networks. The parameters can be configured through the serial port of the modem by using the downloadable configuration utility.
