3528PT-85 is a IR Receiver that just for 850nm LED infrared emitter, we also name it as 850nm photodiode LED. As you can see in the picture as follow, this IR photodiode was packaged as 3528 SMD LED case. It looks like totally the same in size with 3528 850nm LED. The only big different is the lens color in the middle of SMD LED. Which is totaly black color. For 850nm IR LED, we will packaged it with clear color so that we can get the long and wide radiation area as we can. But for photodiode, we need it to receive just 850nm LED(or some specific wavelength or specific range of wavelength).
