What is Amber LED? 

It's a SMD LED or LED Lamps that emits color of amber. There have two kinds of way to produce amber LED. In this 2016WY59D55L30, we produce it with yellow phosphor. Which means, there are the blue chip inside of the package and we just cover the LED chip with phosphor. As long as we pass the current to this white SMD LED, it will emits super warm yellow LED color(some people also name this as amber LED color). Rather than a true amber diode, the PC Amber achieves its reddish hue by way of phosphor treatment on the diode. The benefit to PC amber is a much higher level of output, nearly on par with mainstream white chips.
