2835 SMD LED Package with 970nm LED Emitter;

High temperature will burn the SMD LED or through-hole LED Lamps when they working. LED will be killed or damaged if the heat cannot dispacthed on time when they working. In this case, we are not recommend people use the high operation current to through-hole LED Lamps. Such as 1W high power LED with 5mm throguh-hole LED package, the max operation current its 60mA. Contrary on that, 2835 SMD LED perectly work with 60mA. For IR LED with 2835 SMD LED, as long as the chip can handle the current, the SMD LED frame case will take that working current because there have a heat sink on the bottom for heat dispatched. In this 970nm LED, the max working current is 100mA and 2835 SMD LED case are totally find with it~
