Another very important reason for dyeing plastic is that the raw material is waste plastic, in order to cover up the original color. The second is smell. As long as the plastic has a peculiar smell, it is absolutely not allowed to store food anyway. The peculiar smell is generally the taste of additives, colorings and other additives or residual monomers added to the product. The third is to touch. The plastic that holds food generally feels smooth and shiny.
