Cartrend automotive relay QUICK RESULT tester provides a simple YES/NO light indication result at the completion of a function test, on most common 4 and 5 pin automotive relays.

The relay control circuit is tested by activating and monitoring the internal relay coil circuit and this allows a separate load to pass through the relay contacts.
This is performed as a cycle where the EQP-018 can monitor the cycle consistency and assess the relay condition.

A failed relay will result with a RED light illuminated whilst a GREEN light indicates all activation and load cycles are acceptable.

Please note:

Ensure the correct relay is used for the specific vehicle circuit. An incorrect relay (incorrect amperage may result in premature relay failure or incorrect vehicle circuit operation.
