Overview
The development of IEEE 802.3af includes the efforts of many company experts, which also allows the standard to be tested in all aspects.
NT-IN311 series are 10/100/1000Base-TX to 1000Base-SX/LX Industrial Gigabit Media Converter.
The IEEE 802.3at standard was formulated in 2005 and promulgated in 2009.
It will extend transmission distance of network up to 100Km via fiber port, and the UTP port can operation at 10M, 100M and 1000M application.This series is packaged in a special compact IP40 metal case that allows either DIN rail or panel mounting for easy installation at control cabinet.
The output power of 802.3at standard can reach 30W, and the available power at the receiving end is 25.5W.
It accepts an integrated power supply with a wide range of voltages for worldwide operation. It can also be equipped with dual-redundant, reversible polarity 12V DC to 48V DC power supply inputs for high availability applications requiring dual or backup power inputs.
At the end of 2012, the IEEE 802.3 working group and the alliance of various manufacturers launched POH-POWER OVER HDBASET.
This industrial Media Converter complied with IEEE 802.3at High Power over Ethernet technology (optional).
Using the current 4-Pair four-pair technology, the bilateral power supply can reach 60-100W power, which can be achieved by using Category 5 or Category 6 cables.
It is downward compatible with 802.3af PoE standards to allow users flexibly deploy standard and high powered devices simultaneously with no need of software configuration.
It is applied to high-definition video push broadcasting to supply power to 42 "LED TV. According to the new regulations of the United States in 2010, the power consumption of 42" LED TV needs to be less than 70W.
With Data and Power over Ethernet from one unit, NT-IN311 Industrial Media converter series shall reduce cables deployment and eliminate the need for dedicated electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling or any unreachable place.
