4. Host standby connection: The host standby connection provides a redundant connection for the port device, thereby effectively protecting the system in the event of a switch failure. This service allows the definition of the master and backup switches.
NT-IN124 is unmanaged 2 fiber POE switch with 6 ports. It supports 4 port 10/100BASE-T and 2 port 100Base-X.
They have the same configuration parameters as the virtual server definition. Since the Layer 4 switches share the same MAC address, the backup switch receives all the same data as the main unit.
NT-IN124 series is packaged in a compact IP40 case that allows either DIN rail or panel mounting for efficient usage of cabinet space.
This enables the backup switch to monitor the communication content served by the main switch. The master switch continuously informs the backup switch of the fourth layer of relevant data, MAC data, and its power status. When the main switch fails, the backup switch will automatically take over without interrupting the conversation or connection.
NT-IN124 series can support 4 ports POE function. Without power and wires, can power supply for HD IP Camera, wireless AP, IP phone and so on. Our POE unmanaged Fast Ethernet Media Converter support IEEE802.3at, 25.5W output.
