Industrial Fast Ethernet POE Switch Overview

 

(1) Bridge Protocol Data Unit: BPDU (Bridge Protocol Data Unit)
BPDU is a data unit for communication between spanning tree protocol switches and is used to determine roles.

NT-IN128 is a Industrial Fast Ethernet POE Switch with 10 ports. It supports 8 port 10/100BASE-T and 2 port 100Base-X.

(2) Bridge ID: Bridge ID
The identification number of the switch, which consists of priority and MAC address, priority 16 bits, MAC address 48 bits.

NT-IN128 Industrial Fast Ethernet POE Switch series is packaged in a compact IP40 case that allows either DIN Rail or panel mounting for efficient usage of cabinet space.

(3) Root bridge: Root bridge
The root bridge is defined as the switch with the smallest bridge number, and all ports of the root bridge will not be blocked.

NT-IN128-AT (AF) Industrial Fast Ethernet POE Switch series can support 4 ports POE function, providing power supply for HD IP Camera, wireless AP, IP phone and so on. Our Industrial Fast Ethernet POE Switch support up to IEEE802.3at, 25.5W PoE output.

(4) Root port: Root port
The port with the least cumulative cost from the non-root bridge to the root bridge is responsible for the communication interface between this bridge and the root bridge.
(5) Designated bridge: Designated bridge
The cumulative path to the root bridge in the network costs the smallest switch and is responsible for sending and receiving data on this network segment.
