Product Composition

The main component of POM sheets and POM rods is polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as "Delrin." POM is a crystalline plastic with a high-density, non-side-chain, and highly crystalline linear polymer structure, which gives it excellent comprehensive properties.

Performance Characteristics

Physical Properties: POM sheets and POM rods have a smooth and glossy surface, appearing hard and dense. They are generally white or yellowish, with high crystallinity, good colorability, and excellent dimensional stability, along with minimal water absorption.

Mechanical Properties: POM sheets and POM rods exhibit high hardness and rigidity, excellent wear resistance, self-lubricating properties, and creep resistance. This allows them to withstand high loads and repeated impacts without deformation.

Thermal Properties: POM sheets and POM rods have a high heat distortion temperature and can be used continuously within a temperature range of -40°C to 104°C.

Electrical Properties: POM sheets and POM rods maintain stable dielectric loss and dielectric constant within a wide frequency and temperature range, along with good arc resistance.

Chemical Properties: POM sheets and POM rods exhibit good resistance to solvents, oils, weak acids, and weak bases.
