  MTB-5803 Clear Epoxy resin AB Glue for Bonding Aggregates for Pavements/Driveways/Pathways       Instruction  It is two-component, solvent free, adhesion-modified, aliphatic polyurethane systemspecially formulated for aggregate binding applications. When cured,has excellentadhesion to bituminous and concrete surfaces and to most aggregates, aggregate chippings or pebbles,including calcined bauxite,\granite, limestone, marble, Derbyshire spar, basalt, silica sand, flint, calcinedflint, rounded gravel and Bridport stone. It is supplied as two pre-weighed components in a single container which should be mixedbefore adding to the aggregate. Itproduces a completely clear non-yellowing film using dustfreeaggregate.   Choice of suitable aggregate for use with MTB-5803is critical as detailed below. If you are unsureabout the suitability of your chosen aggregate please consult MTB who will test the aggregatesperformance.   Typical Application Note: It contains only aliphatic isocyanates and will not yellow when exposed to sunlight.   Itis particularly suited for use in pebble binding applications where the product is mixed withaggregate, which is then laid as a screed over the surface to be covered. A clear polymer results, allowingthe color of the stone to show through. A wet look is imparted to the stone leaving a glossy finish. It isvitally important that the stone is free from dust. This will mask the color of the stone if dispersed intothe binder and will obscure the natural color of the stone and will soak up binder.   Processing & Application Specially washed, screened and dried, dust free aggregate for resin bound use must be used in conjunction with MTB-5803. The aggregate supplier should be informed of the end use. Dust-free gravel of up to 10mm (ideally 6mm) is often chosen for tree pits, for example. It should only be used with dry aggregate.
