Hengstar Embedded offers a number of industrial touchscreen tablets that can be deployed in these environments. If the computer is frequently washed down or cleaned with chemicals, stainless steel is recommended to prevent rust and corrosion. Hengstar offers stainless steel tablets and industrial monitors with IP66, IP67, or IP69K ratings for protection against water jets. Screen sizes for these models range from 10 inches to 22 inches.

Hengstar Embedded also offers panel mount computers with IP66, IP67, and IP69K front panels. When these tablets are mounted in a cutout in the enclosure, they provide a waterproof seal and the front panel is waterproof. Screen sizes for these panel mount models range from 7 inches to 32 inches and include aluminum or stainless steel front panels. Standalone waterproof box PCs and fanless embedded systems can be used for headless applications where a display is not required. If the computer is exposed to liquids, then a waterproof industrial tablet or waterproof embedded system is absolutely necessary.
