Description:

Box tilted-plate thickener (XBNZ)

The whole machine is comprised of upper box and lower cone. The upper box consists of a group of mutually independent tilted-plates. Minerals enter the tilted-plate group from its bottom. There is a overflow groove which runs through the upper part of tilted-plate group and is configured with orifices that create the hydraulic backpressure to ensure even load among tilted-plates and to avoid radial turbulence.

The special feeding mode (side direction, semi-countercurrent) can insure that the ascending clear liquid and descending solid granules do not interfere with each other. Thick mud slides along tilted-plate and falls down upon the lower cone where mud is condensed and dewatered and subsequently discharged by gravity or mechanical vibration.

It is applied to make muddy water clear, treat effluent water, recycle waste water in fields like municipal affairs, environmental protection, chemical, electric, food, light textile, mining industries, etc. It has features, including: compact structure, less floor space, large processing capacity per unit area, reliable operation and easy maintenance. Principle:

The materials are fed into the Xinhaitilted-plate thickener from the upper box. Then the majority of overflows are overflowed through the overflow groove by the action of cohesive and gravitational force, while the minority of overflows form a small cyclone and slide into the lower cone. After concentration and dewatering, the concentrations are discharged by gravity from the lower underflow tube.
