Function:
Gantry Welding Machine MZG1000*2 Gantry SAW welding machine is a kind of special equipment which is used
for automatically submerged arc welding of H-beam (column) and similar components. It carries out the automatic submerged arc welding in the control of computer. It is high in quality, beautiful in welding and high in welding
efficiency. Automatic flux spreading and retrieving and mechanical automatic tracking device are available. It is
a kind of necessary equipment in the industry of steel structure.
The working principle is to place the workpiece onto CNC carrying conveyer and rollers. It may also be placed onto
the bracket.

Mechanical Part:
The machine consists of gantry, welding head, wire reel, mechanical torch tracking device, flux spreading and
retrieving device and electrical control system.
● Gantry is adopted with welded structure. 2 sets of welders, 2 welding heads, 2 wire reels, 2 tracking and flux
spreading and retrieving devices are mounted on the gantry. Main and auxiliary sliding seats are equipped under
the gantry to drive the gantry moving on the tracks (except for the fixing type).
● The traveling of the gantry is double-driving. The driving motor is used step-by-step motor or frequency conversion AC motor to drive the traveling
wheel through decelerator to do the friction transmission on tracks. Its traveling speed is the welding speed
(stepless governing).
● The two welding heads travel on the sliding track of the gantry beam. Its driving mode is that step-by-step motor
or AC asynchronous motor drive the welding head on the beam to move left and right through decelerator and
leading screw. The up-and-down moving of the welding head is driven by step-by-step motor or AC asynchronous
motor.
● The mechanical tracking of the torch is mounted at the lower side of the head. It may meet the requirement of
that the nozzle will align the welding seam all the time and keep a certain distance with the welding seam.
● Automatic flux spreading and retrieving device in mounted on the head to do the work of that spreading flux
before welding and retrieving flux after welding.
● The operation system of the two sets of welders is installed in one operation cabinet. The operation cabinet in
mounted in the middle of the gantry frame. The two operation cabinets are fixed over the electrical control box.
