YM5150A Precision Gear Shaper is produced on the base of Y5150A Gear Shaper and it is manufactured with increased accuracy of key parts and components.

The machine is designed for the mass production of gears used in automobile, construction machinery, tractor, military product and machine tool industry, etc. It is mainly used for cutting internal and external spur gears, cluster gears and shaft gears. When using a special cutter, various type of gear couplings and involute splines can be producted. If a helical guide way is adopted, the helical gears can be cut.

Description:

1) The machine is a longitudinal displayed machine with swinging the cutter head for bi-directional relieving motion and moving the worktable for radial feed so as to ensure the rigidity and versatility of machine.

2) The cutting speed can be changed automatically when the roughing cut is changed into finishing cut. The reciprocating movement of cutter spindle is directly carried out through crank disk and connecting rod with a ball head, so that the highest 538 strokes per minute can be obtained.

3) The worktable can be rapidly advanced and withdrawn for unloading the workpiece conveniently.

4) The cutting depth can be pre-selected and divided optionally, and the working cycles from one to nine cuts can be done automatically.

5) A tangent relief function is available so as to prevent the cutter interference.

6) The machine is equipped with a hydraulic system which is used for clamping the workpiece. It is a fully automatic machine with less manual operation for the purpose of running several machines by one operator.

7) One of the outstanding features is the versatility. Special orders of customers can be satisfied by making some changes of the machine, such as bed block for increasing the cutting stroke, worktable with hydraulic tailstock and cutter stopping at the up position, etc.

8) The machine is equipped with imported electrical control system PLC.
