Description:

The full name of pipe mould is centrifugal ductile iron pipe mould, which is used for casting ductile iron pipes. It’s large equipment for producing ductile iron pipes on the machine of centrifugal pipe-casting. In the manufacturing process of ductile iron pipe, pipe mould is mounted on a centrifugal casting machine with high-speed rotation to cast iron pipe. It belongs to the industrial consumables.

Owing to poor working conditions, such as high-speed rotation, great centrifugal force, under alternating stress and cold outside and hot inside in the process of using pipe mould, the die forging quality is directly related to its life -- numbers of extubation.

The materials: 21CrMo10, 20CrMo, 30CrMo, 42CrMo, 35CrMo, etc. are mostly used for the forged centrifugal casting pipe mould. It is made from forging, normalizing, formed with quenching and tempering treatment.

Different ways of machining process are followed in light of different specifications of the pipe mould, in order to lower its cost.

A) For small-caliber pipe mould, using solid forgings for the blank, and adopting deep-hole drilling, boring hole for machining.

B) For medium-caliber pipe mould, using solid forgings for the blank, employing technological methods of jacking and boring hole.

C) For large-caliber pipe mould, using hollow forgings, ability to complete all the machining for outer circle of the inner hole disposably. It not only improves the production efficiency, but also can obtain good coaxiality.

Production process: steel ingot -- forging -- rough machining -- UT -- boring -- QT -- the 2nd rough machining -- hole enlarging -- aging -- lightly boring -- oiling -- packaging -- delivery
