Resistive touchscreen is easy to use as it can be operated with any object in hand

like stylus etc. But capacitive touchscreen is only operated by finger ouch

because it is human interface device. Therefore it is not prefer to use at higher

level where stylus is desired to use. Capacitive touchscreen is not responsive to

stylus, gloves or other object. It just senses finger touch or an object made up of

conductive material.


is Pressure sensitive while Capacitive touchscreen is HID

(Human Interface Device or responsive to the conductive material. When we

apply pressure on resistive touchscreen they strike because of the space between

two layers and locate the point of touch to carry out the desired command while

outer layer on the glass protect the screen from damaging its mechanism.
