Dimmable
Vleadteck Digital Electronic Ballasts have the ability to be dimmed. Dimming is one the best ways for dealing with heat issues in your garden. It is important to know that you can only lower the wattage while dimming a lamp. For example, a 1000w lamp can be lowered to 750w, but at the same time, the wattage cannot be increase back to 1000w. So it is recommended that the ballast should be shut off before turning up wattage or changing its setting.
Super lumens
Super lumens addition equips extra 5% boost to the maximum wattage setting of the ballast.
Upon ignition, the ballast will gain power slowly and about 15-25 minutes, it will achieve full energy draw and intensity.
This feature is helpful in avoiding draw of huge amperage at once when the ballast is turned on!
During power failure, the ballast`s re-strike system will detect hot lamps before re-starting the whole system. If it detects any hot lamps, the re-strike system will delay its re-striking sequence for about a minute until the lamps cool down.
