  • Sensor has to be pointed at target object of interest
  • Basic working principle is:
    • Detection of infrared radiation with thermopile sensor, which turns incoming radiation to analogue voltage
    • Determination of sensor temperature using thermistor
    • Further analogue signal processing and conditioning
    • Calculation of ambient and object temperature using processing unit
    • Providing ambient and objects temperature at digital output bus (I2C)
    • TSEV01CL55 is suitable for wide range of application where non-contact
    • temperature measurement is required
