Introduction
The AKC 72A controller uses the ADAP-Kool® Technology to provide simple and accurate control of both the room temperature and defrost function.
The AKC 72A can be supplied with or without datacommunications.

Day/night function
The internal day/night function can be used for

- It can activate the digital output if it has been defined for light switch (this function cannot be used, if the relay is used for

- It can perform cold accumulation in periods when the price of electricity is low.
Compressor control
The digital output can control the compressor,
So that the compressor is only cut in when the thermostat demands refrigeration (this
Function cannot be used, if the relay is used for controlling the light).

Defrost on Demand
This function saves energy.
It analyses whether or not a planned defrost needs to be performed or can be skipped. The

Defrost sensor
The sensor on the evaporator monitors the temperature during defrost. The controller stops the defrost cycle when the evaporator has reached a given temperature.
This function also means that the defrost time is not longer than necessary.

Fan control
