The ZMAX is adjustable from 3.0V to 6V in. 1V increment, or you can adjust the constant power/wattage output from 3.0watts to 15watts in. 5watt increments.
The built in display will display output voltage, battery remaining voltage, atomizer resistance, power on/off, and LED on/off. The Smoktech ZMAX features a 5AMP switch.
The switch also is able to rotate 360 degrees so you will never get a stuck switch. The Zmax come with a EGO compatible thread. Which makes it suitable fo for use with most EGO or 510 atomizers, cartomizers, clearomizers etc...
The ZMAX uses a single 18650 battery. It will work with flat or button top 18650 batteries. "We suggest the use of the IMR 18650 batteries which are sold seperately. " The Zmax settings and menu is operated by the single button on the unit.
Zmax user adjustable settings:
1. Uu- Voltage up
2. Ud- Voltage down
3. So- Standby / on/off
4. Uc- Battery voltage check
5. Ds- Display change / Resistance O/Voltage output/Voltage under load 'live'
6. Lo- LED on/off
7. Up- Voltage power (Wattage setting) Po- Constant power operation Uo- Constant voltage operation
Error codes:
LOR---Lower resistance indication; If the resistance is below 1.2ohm, the display will show "Low Load".
LOU---Lower voltage indication. If the 18650 battery voltage is below 3.4V the display will show "Low Voltage".
WSC---Short circuit indication. If cartomizer/atomizer output port short-circuit, the display will show "Warning Short Circuit".
Low Battery Indicator --- When the battery gets low the red lighted pushbutton will slowly flash indicating that your battery is low.
