1.3 Major applications and scope

• Not recommended to be used for monitoring the patients for a long time without any rest ;
• Do NOT use the device in an MR/CT environment, in an exprosive atmosphere, or on infant or neonatal patient .
• High temperature or high pressure steam disinfection for the oximeter is not permitted;Do not have the oximeter immerged in liquid ;
• Operation of this device below the minimum amplitude of 0.4% modulation may cause inaccurate results
• The device is designed to measure the percentage of arterial oxygen saturation of functional hemoglobin Factors that may degrade pulse oximeter performance or affect the accuracy of the measurement include the following :

Do not apply the pulse oximiter on the same arm as a blood pressure cuff, arterial catheter or infusion line(s)(IVs) .

Excessive light, such as sunlight or direct home lighting . Moisture in the device

Anemia or low hemoglobin concentrations

The above picture shows the appearance of EC-P60B , which is composed of main device, light emitter and the light sensor . The main device has such main components : button, OLED screen, battery component , and mechanical device which is divided into two parts .

3.7 Pulse information The pulse waveform, pulse bar graph , pulse beating icon are showed on the screen .

3.8 Pulse sound The pulse beating sound is synchronous with the pulse beating icon sparkling and pulse waveform . Meanwhile the pulse beep can be manually closed through setting the pulse sound function or long pressing the button over 2 seconds.

3.9 Default Alarm Setting Spo2 alarm threshold : 90% ; PR alarm high threshold : 120bpm ; PR alarm low threshold : 50bpm ;

3.10 Alarm Sound When the parameter measurement value(PR , SPO2) is out of the alarm range , the alarm sound will inform the users , meanwhile the alarm sound can be manually closed through setting the alarm function or long pressing the button over 2 seconds .

3.11 Alarm information When the parameter measurement value(PR ,SPO2) is out of the default normal range, the relative alarm information will appear on the screen . The alarm information appears two kinds of types :

The measurement result sparkling with 1HZ frequency ;

The relative alarm string will roll and show on the screen .

The alarm function also can be closed through configuration, but the default configuration for the alarm function is open.

3.12 Anti light disturb performance The Spo2 and PR measurement result satisfy the demand in the normal room light disturb condition which is compared with the dark room condition .

3.13 Anti motion disturb performance

The Spo2 and PR measurement result satisfy the demand in the normal patient motion condition which is compared with the non-motion condition .

3.14 Durability performance The device is tough enough to withstand a minimum of 20 drops, is rugged enough to be used in the most demanding situations and exceeds IP32 water ingress testing .

3.15 On and off function There is a turn on button which also is the screen display mode switch button and the function setting button . The device will automatic turn off after the figure is out of the device over 6~8 seconds .
