This type of primer is for bonding HTV Silicone with metallic substrates , especically for for cured silicone sleeve with (roller core)metallic substrates . spare from Injection molding , direct coating and heating will do all
Method of applications
Surface treatment:Degreasing the metallic substrates with blast sanding,polishing
or washed with iudustrial alcohol
• Gluing: Apply the primer on the roller core by Brush painting/coating, dipping or spray painting/coating. etc. • Drying condition: Preheat the primer-coated metallic substrates 90 degrees for 4minutes
(enable the primer coating adheres to the metallic substrates to facilitate the following step )
• Bonding method : Dress the silicone sleeve onto the roller core (metallic substrates) by
heat blowing method ( when the silicone sleeve absorb heat ,
it would expand so as to fit in roller cores )
• Final Bonding :Once the silicone sleeve married to the roller cores , put the silicone rubber roller in the oven , bake at 120 degrees for 15-20 minutes to achieve final bonding .
